Classes are on Saturdays. Your first class is free, no obligation to come and try! This is so you and/or your child can come and try the class before you decide to invest in dance class. Don't buy dance shoes or dance wear before attending the first class. Dances are taught in the spring, and a dance studio recital occurs in early June.

Class Rates are $9 for a hour lesson, $12 a 1 and 1/2 hour lesson, $15 a 2 hour lesson. Family discounts are given.

The 3-5 year old class is 9:00-10:00AM, and they do 20 minutes of tap, 20 minutes of ballet, 20 minutes of gymnastics. We work on basics of tap (shuffles, heel-toe, flaps, etc.) basics of ballet (pliés, relevés, bourré turns, sauté, leaps, etc.), and basics of gymnastics (stretching, forward rolls, cartwheels, etc.). We also play some simple movement games.

The 5-7 year old class is 10:00 - 11:30AM. This consists of 30 minutes of tap, 30 minutes of ballet, and 30 minutes of gymnastics, building on the basics described above.

The 7-10 year old class is 11:30AM - 1:30PM. This class varies on skill level more so than age. We begin with 1 hour of ballet, followed by 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of gymnastics. Ballet begins to take on a more serious dance level in this class.

The Teen/Adult Tap/Gymnastics class runs 12:30-1:30PM and overlaps with the earlier class, beginning with 30 minutes of tap, 30 minutes of gymnastics. This class focuses on various tap steps and phrasing, building on combinations that challenge the students level of skill.

The Teen/Adult Ballet runs from 1:30-2:30PM, and is a beginning/intermediate level of ballet. This class is aimed at teaching a well-rounded ballet class for teens and adults, or even experienced dancers interested in taking a good ballet class with a more mature level of dance.

The Stretch/Alignment class runs from 2:30-3:30PM, and is an exercise/workout class with zero impact. Deep stretch and alignment are emphasized in this class, along with a thorough workout of the bodys musculature.

This year's dance field trip will be to see New York City Ballet's Nutcracker, a Sunday matinee performance, date to be determined. Tickets are approximately $36 each. More information on these upcoming performances will be handed out in class.
