Problems with S.M. Motor Sports located at 140 Lakeville rd. New Hyde Park, NY Repair shop mechanic they specialize in sports and foreign car repair11040

The short of my problems follows I will be adding over the next couple of days a very detailed discription of the problem and also audio files of about a dozen or so phone conversations with Mr. Mehta showing him being totally irresponsible for the concecuences of his mistakes.

Over $2500.00 spent and a car worth approximately $10,000.00 now not worth more $300.00 for juck because of a mistake (something that we can all sympathize with, since we are all prone to make mistakes) and what is more concerning a lcomplete lack of profesional and/or personal responsibility for his work, I now have lost around $10,000.00

Problems with repair of my 1986 Porsche 928 S.M. Motor Sports. After spending over $2500.00 on the repair of my car, On the way back home and about 6 to 7 miles from the shop the car stalled out as the RPMs (revs) dropped. This was the original problem I took it in to the shop. After trying to start the car several times with no sucess I call the shop and spoke to Mr.Sunil Mehta the owner. I described what had happened and continued trying to start the car at different intervals while on the cell phone with Mr. Mehta, Suddenly the car started, I asked Mr. Mehta to stay on the line with me till I got home, another three or so miles, which he did. The car stalled as I was pulling itno my driveway. Shortly after getting into the house I again called Mr. Mehta we discussed my bringing the car in first thing Monday morning and Mr. Mehta Suggested I could even bring it in over the weekend, and I could leave the key in the key drop box. So two days later, early Sunday morning my wife followied me in another car on the drive back to the repair shop. The car stalled a couple or so times. Each time it took longer to get the car started, it stalled one more time as I slowed down ro pull into the shop I tried starting it again but after acouple of tries I had my wife push me with her car the few feet into the shop parking. We left the car there.
